K, so I ended up going to NDK despite my grim outlook before. In the process I suffered 25+ hours of car rides, missing important information in my classes, and being in a hotel full of people playing dress up for hours on end.

I regret nothing.

usshadowop seems to have taken it upon himself to "break my shame." Because of this, I claim, I did things this weekend that I wouldn't have considered doing 4 days ago. Seems like the first thing I did when I got into the con was buy a little white button that says "Glomp Me!!" and attached it to my collar (OK, so that one was all me ^.^).

Throughout the entire event, I bought a pair of ears (still can't believe this...), witnessed half a hotel bounce up and down to Caramell Dansen ("They're doin' the 'crab pinch!' Fail!!"), and saw many a cosplayer (I <3 Fran).

Highlight of the trip, though, has to be getting to meet kimasura in person ^.^ She is as cute and sweet in person as I knew she would be. I think just being around her helped me loosen up and enjoy myself as well. I do feel bad about not getting to say goodbye proper, though. And, I know I've said it many times, but I REALLY like the present you gave me ^.^
